I don’t intend to make it a habit to constantly review products on this blog. It’s just that every once in a while I run into something so incredible that I just have to share it. I received my Spider Stargate backdrop last night from Germany, and I’m completely blown away… In fact I’m going to ask you to watch the YouTube video before I go any further.

To the uninitiated, you might not be too impressed. For me though, this is absolutely revolutionary. My old backdrop took 20 minutes to assemble and didn’t look nearly this good. The Spider takes about five minutes to assemble and is the best looking backdrop I’ve ever seen.

Even if you’re not a magician, I could see this being useful to DJ’s, Party Planners, Stand-Up Comics, and anyone else who has to create an impromptu stage for a large audience. Seriously, I can’t tell you how big of a deal this is for me. Not to mention the whole setup is surprisingly lightweight.

The price tag is a little steep, but it’s worth it. I did a lot of research into the market before buying one of these, and it really does seem to be the best out there.
